Whale watching on the Sapphire coast

DIVING MERIMULA

Local corals, underwater caves and shipwrecks make exploring beneath the waves as rewarding as exploring above them. Summer water temperatures average 22 degrees with winter at 13 degrees.

SAPPHIRE COAST WHALE WATCHING
Today the Sapphire Coast is a whale watching wonderland, playing host to these majestic creatures. Between September and November Humpbacks, Southern Right, Minke, and even the endangered Blue Whale have been sighted, coming into our bays during this period. Charter boats operate whale watching tours.

FISHING MERIMBULA

The fishing is plentiful on the Sapphire Coast whether it's estuary, beach, rock or ocean. All are available for the visiting angler. Charter boats offer game fishing in season, and some fine deep sea and reef fishing all year round. Or rent a tinnie and take the family fishing in the lake.
